    Privacy Policy

MET Repairs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our website, request quotes, book service, correspond with us, or interact with our field-service coordination tools (including contractor and business-facing areas of the site where applicable).

    Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly:

    • • Name, email, phone, service address, and similar contact details when you request a quote, book service, submit contact forms, or create related records
    • • Job details: scope descriptions, photos or attachments you upload, scheduling preferences, and messages about the work
    • • Payment-related data handled by our payment processor (for example, Stripe)—we do not store full card numbers on our servers
    • • Contractor and service-provider application data (credentials, insurance, licenses, portfolio materials) when you apply to work with us
    • • Business partner or work-order metadata supplied when organizations route requests to us (for example, intake references and attachment links)
    • • Communications, feedback, and support requests

    How We Use Your Information

    • • To schedule, dispatch, document, and bill work
    • • To operate quotes, estimates, invoices, and payments through our systems and payment partners
    • • To onboard, verify, and coordinate independent service providers
    • • To send service-related and, where allowed, promotional messages (you may opt out of marketing where applicable)
    • • To respond to questions, disputes, and support tickets
    • • To comply with law and enforce our agreements

    Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

    • • Remember preferences and support site functionality
    • • Measure traffic and performance (for example, Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics where enabled)
    • • Provide chat or messaging widgets (for example, Tawk.to) when present on the site
    • • Support secure checkout with Stripe where used

You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.

    Third-Party Services

    We use trusted third-party services:

    • Stripe — card payments, invoices, and related payment data (subject to Stripe's policies)
    • Brevo — transactional and marketing email when we use that platform
    • Tawk.to — chat widget, when enabled
    • Google Analytics / Tag Manager — usage analytics when our measurement IDs are configured
    • Vercel — website hosting and related analytics products we enable
    • Google Cloud — our codebase may use Google Cloud Storage for object storage when that integration is configured for uploads or file handling

Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their practices.

    Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Service records are retained for warranty and legal compliance purposes.

    Your Rights

    You have the right to:

    • • Access, correct, or delete your personal information
    • • Opt-out of marketing communications
    • • Request a copy of data we hold about you
    • • Lodge a complaint with relevant authorities

Contact us at mytech@metrepairs.com to exercise these rights.

    Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transmissions use SSL/TLS encryption.

    Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

    Terms of Service

By accessing and using the MET Repairs website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

    1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MET Repairs. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

    2. Use of Website

    You agree to:

    • • Provide accurate information when requesting quotes or booking services
    • • Not use the website for any unlawful purpose
    • • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website
    • • Not interfere with or disrupt the website's operation

    3. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of MET Repairs and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

    4. Service Quotes & Pricing

Online quotes and calculators produce estimates from the information you provide. Hosted quotes, invoices, or written scopes may be issued through our systems (including Stripe where used). Final price and scope are those you approve in writing (including electronically) before work proceeds, except for clearly described emergency or time-and-materials arrangements.

    5. How we deliver service (platform role)

MET Repairs coordinates field service: scheduling, communications, documentation, and often payment processing. On-site work is commonly performed by independent contractors or independent trade businesses in our network, not as our employees, unless a specific program says otherwise in writing. Nothing on this website creates an employment relationship between you and those providers, or between you and us, except as expressly stated for a given program.

    6. Business customers & work orders

Property managers, service networks, and similar partners may submit work orders or intakes to us. The organization submitting the request remains responsible for the accuracy of its instructions and for any agreement it has with the property owner or end customer. We may rely on that information to schedule and bill unless we agree otherwise in writing.

    7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation. Service warranties are provided separately under our Service Terms & Conditions.

    8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MET Repairs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from use of the website or services. Our total liability for claims relating to the website or our coordination role in a given matter is limited to the amount you paid us for that matter in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or, if none, to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100)). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.

    9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold MET Repairs harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the website or violation of these terms.

    10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Fulton County, Georgia.

    11. Contact Information

For questions about these Terms, contact us at mytech@metrepairs.com or call (404) 913-5761.

    Licensing & Compliance Disclosure

MET Repairs coordinates multi-trade field services in Metro Atlanta, Georgia, and surrounding areas we publish on this site. This section summarizes how we think about licensing and qualifications. It is not legal advice and does not replace your own diligence for a specific job.

    Services we may coordinate

Our public service offerings may include the trades listed or updated on our Services pages and when you book online: locksmithing; electrical; access control; security systems; fire alarm; data and low-voltage; TV mounting; electronic repairs; EV charger installation; light maintenance; painting; and related field work. Exact availability depends on technician coverage and scheduling.

    Licensed or regulated work

Where federal, Georgia, or local law requires a license, permit, registration, or certification for a task, we expect work to be performed only by service providers who meet those requirements (including appropriate supervision where the law allows supervised work). Providers in our network must accept jobs only within their qualified scope and maintain insurance and documentation we require for onboarding.

    Independent service providers

Field technicians and trade businesses are generally independent contractors or independent businesses, not employees of MET Repairs, unless a specific written program states otherwise. They remain responsible for their own compliance with law, taxes, and trade standards.

Customer responsibilities: Provide accurate information, safe access, and any landlord, HOA, or permit approvals needed. Disclose known hazards (for example, asbestos, lead, moisture intrusion, or prior unpermitted work) so we can plan appropriately.

Bonding: Whether bonding is available or required depends on the customer, contract, and job type. If bonding applies, it will be addressed in the applicable written agreement for that project.

    Terms & Conditions

    1. Scope of work

We coordinate the field services described on our site and in your quote, booking, or work order (including locksmithing, electrical and low-voltage trades, security and access, fire alarm where offered, light maintenance, painting, and related work). The specific scope for your job is the written or electronic agreement for that job—not a generic web page.

    2. Compliance & permits

Service providers are responsible for performing work in compliance with applicable law. You are responsible for securing owner, landlord, or authority approvals (permits, HOA rules, etc.) unless our contract for that job expressly includes permit services.

    3. Independent contractors & assignment

On-site work may be performed by independent trade businesses or technicians we coordinate. They are not our employees unless a specific program says otherwise in writing. MET Repairs is not responsible for work knowingly performed outside a provider's qualifications; providers are responsible for their own acts and omissions within the agreed scope.

    4. Liability & insurance

We maintain or require business insurance as appropriate for our operations and network. You must disclose known hazards, defective existing conditions, and prior repairs that could affect safety or outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, neither MET Repairs nor the assigned provider is responsible for concealed conditions that could not reasonably have been identified during a normal site review.

    5. Payments, fees & Stripe

Amounts, deposits, and due dates are set in your quote, invoice, payment link, or written agreement. We commonly process card payments through Stripe. Service fees, trip charges, or minimums stated at booking or in writing generally apply as described there. Unless required by law or expressly stated for your transaction, fees are not refundable once work has begun or dispatch has occurred, as defined in your job documentation.

    6. Workmanship assurance

For labor and materials we supply on a completed job, if you notify us within fourteen (14) days of completion that the work failed under normal use because of our labor or our supplied materials, we will work with you to address it in line with your job documentation. This does not cover manufacturer defects (handled under manufacturer warranty), damage after completion, misuse, alterations by others, or customer-supplied materials you asked us to install. Manufacturer warranties apply to products per the manufacturer. If your written quote or completion packet states a different period or exclusion, that document controls for that job.

    7. Cancellations & rescheduling

Cancellations or reschedules may incur fees if we have committed resources or turned away other work, as stated in your confirmation or quote. Emergency and same-day commitments depend on availability and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed.

    8. Limitations

Without limiting other terms, we are not liable for issues caused by or arising from:

    • • Pre-existing unsafe wiring, plumbing, structure, or concealed damage
    • • Customer-supplied or third-party materials, plans, or equipment
    • • Moisture, mold, lead, asbestos, or hazardous materials not identified in advance when a standard visual review would not reveal them
    • • Delays or failures due to weather, supply chain, utility outages, or other events outside our reasonable control
    Independent service provider terms

These terms apply to independent contractors and trade businesses that perform work coordinated through MET Repairs (including applicants who are approved to use contractor tools we provide).

    1. Licensing & scope

You affirm you hold all licenses, registrations, or certifications legally required for the services you accept, and you will perform work only within that qualified scope. You will not misrepresent credentials.

    2. Insurance

You must maintain liability (and other) insurance at levels we specify for onboarding, and provide updated proof when asked.

    3. Independent contractor status

You are an independent business, not an employee, unless a separate written agreement explicitly states otherwise. You are responsible for taxes, benefits, tools, vehicles, workers' compensation (if applicable), and legal compliance.

    4. Customers & conduct

You will treat customers and property professionally and safely. You will use customer contact and job information only to perform the assigned work and as our systems require—not for unrelated marketing or resale of data.

    5. Documentation

You agree to follow completion, photo, note, and sign-off requirements in our apps or written procedures for each job (including anything required before payout or customer billing).

    6. Payments & Stripe

Payouts depend on successful collection from the customer where we process payment, completion of required job steps, and our internal review timelines. Timing is not a guarantee of employment or minimum earnings.

    7. Non-solicitation & brand

    • • Do not solicit MET-introduced customers for private work that circumvents our relationship, as described in your onboarding materials
    • • Do not perform work you are not qualified or licensed to perform
    • • Do not misrepresent MET Repairs or imply you are our employee unless true

    8. Termination

We may suspend or remove access for safety issues, compliance failures, fraud, harassment, or repeated poor performance, subject to any notice we give in onboarding or separate agreements.

    Apprentice Participation Agreement

The following terms apply to apprentices participating in the MET Repairs Apprenticeship Support Program.

    1. Role & Scope

Apprentice acknowledges they are participating in supervised tasks only and may NOT perform any work requiring a state license.

    2. Compliance

    Apprentice agrees to follow:

    • • Applicable Georgia law and any apprenticeship or supervision rules that apply to the tasks assigned
    • • MET Repairs safety protocols communicated to you
    • • All supervision requirements for your assignments

    3. Liability

Apprentice performs tasks under MET Repairs oversight and is not permitted to work independently.

    4. Restrictions

    Apprentice may not:

    • • Perform work that requires a license or credential you do not hold, except as expressly allowed under law with proper supervision
    • • Work outside the tasks and supervision structure approved for your program
    • • Act or advertise as a licensed professional if you are not

    5. Compensation

Approved tasks are paid at apprentice rates and do not constitute employment unless explicitly stated.

    6. Termination

Violation of safety or compliance will result in immediate removal.
